Loirelei at Wokingham Rock Club
From the left the band line up as Brian “the lion” Runham, drums, Lou Spyrou, vocals and guitar, Phil Nixon, bass, Steve Christopher, guitar, and Steve McLaughlin, guitar. Lorelei have been described as a West-Coast rock band, but that's not strictly accurate. Their twin lead guitars remind me of Wishbone Ash, and there's a touch of Steely Dan in the songs too. They have a lot of confidence in Louis' songs, which they say have the sort of strong melodies which last.
